Hi there,
I'm a newbie to the forum, a newbie to VWs and a newbie to air cooleds so as you can probably guess I'm floundering a bit here.
I have done a lot of work on my 1978 Vauxhall Chevette (sorry, that's probably classed as obscene language around here  ), including chucking petrol and/ or Easy-Start into the carb to get the old girl going after she's been standing for a while, but that's a beautifully simple Zenith carb with only one obvious hole to squirt into! Looking at the carb on my T25, I haven't got a clue. Looking at itchyfeet's picture on this thread, where is it that I need to dump the half an egg cup of petrol? Where the end of your finger is? Also, do I need to chuck some down both carbs or will feeding one be enough to get her going?

Thanks in advance for your help and patience. I will get there eventually....

Is it just me or is the Haynes manual for T25s particularly rubbish? :run
