Managed to shift the hub nuts with a 3/4" bar, socket and scaffold tube.

Cheers all

Did it creak, groan and squeal? Quite hairy applying that much force knowing/hoping something will give at any time.

I frequently have to do tractor nuts and that involves standing and bouncing on an 8 foot tube whilst 2, 3 or 4 foot in the air. That's the way we roll in farming!!!

Remind us, what task is it you're tackling now the nut is off?

No creaking or groaning. Didn't need to resort to jumping on it. At 6ft2 and 17st I'm a sturdy fella so managed to shift it pulling on the scaffold. It didn't put up much of a fight with the correct tools.

I'm removing the rear hubs to fit new backing plates.

Looking forward to a pic of some cabby/rotten backing plates soon.
