stripped the whole thing down and am currently getting stressed out doing the paint work, hopefully on the road for mid summer
Relax Leroy, it'll be fine
If you want some light relief, read the Wiki on various ways of attacking rust and bodywork. Panel by panel alleviates the boredom, and once you've got a good coat of paint on it and cut it back, get some good wax on it... Mer is good stuff and easy to apply, a damp overcast day seems to make it easier

Dear Nic and Tony,,,,,,,,our obssession began with a grant left to me form my late granny. We are on to our third van at the moment, first was Devon 2.0 litre air cooled camper, then we bought a very nice Caravelle Carat, and recently sold it for another T25 Camper with more room in it than you can shake a stick at.
I look at it as nice hobby trying to keep up with everything a 20 year old vehicle needs with the bonus of being able to get away most weekends when ever we want to, just enjoy it,,,,, it would be rude not to,,,,
Heres some shots of all the ones we have the pleasure of owning.

Hey!!
Thanks to everyone for their welcoming threads!
Rupert is slowly starting to take over our lives. Tony has a four day weekend off work next week and we were supposed to be doing Christmas shopping but we are sorely tempted to just hop in the van and get away for a few days. Does anyone have any suggestions for good places to stay in the Northumberland or North Yorks area?
Please bear in mind that our leisure battery doesn't seam to hold any charge and our Propex heater will not work.

the battery is probably why the propex is not working.
I'll bring a spare batt and you bring the gas

Yeah it is the battery that's the problem with the heater. Cheers Kev, you're a gent, that'll be a big help (and worth a pint or two!)
Been looking at the Wiki and multimap, we're gonna try and find Manbat at Chesterfield whilst we're down in the Peak District and treat ourselves to a new battery.
