Sternal, it's interesting to hear your comments on the screws. We were careful to copy the original Westfalia style screws. Were yours badly machined or did you just not like the type supplied?
We like to hear feedback on our range because without hearing from you guys we don't know how to improve our products. Cheers in advance for any constructive comments

the original screws where absolute rubbish when I phoned to ask for more I was told Id have to pay for another set ! mmm wasn't happy about that... otherwise its a great product

Oh, I'm sorry. Possibly there was a misunderstanding, if the screws were faulty we should have given you another set

Quick question as I haven't hot the van yet, what is the total width (how tall a kid can I shove in there) of the cab area for a bunk?
Cheers
Gav

That's a good question. I am not currently able to measure one but I will get an answer for you as soon as possible

Ok, after a little investigation I can tell you the canvas is 1380mm wide and 1090mm deep. Obviously kids are more comfortable with sleeping in the foetal position so this isn't necessarily a height limit for them. The weight restriction is hard to ascertain as it is down to a series of calculations but I can say that I have attempted to destructively test one (not very scientific as it did involve beers at Vanfest

) and it withstood my weight but distorted the poles (please bear in mind I'm 6'8" and not the slimmest of guys

)
