Bear in mind kev has the later system so not really much use to those who have the early one, as for 'tinware' like onion says it only takes a stone to puncture a pushrod tube and you're f4cked so it's worth hunting down a pair.

I have none of the above ..... The P-rod tube covers are missing on mine + no support for backbox !!

I hope that bracket "supporting" the silencer is bolted to the engine mount too.. those pipes/flanges/flange bolts wont last long with all that weight swinging on them.....

well after calculating the weight transfer coifficients and the fatigue failiure rates of tubular mild steel from the added weight to the flange, taking from that the system was sprung sufficiently as to have a negative effect on the inlet, thus supporting the outlet of the silencer was equated to X kg well within the limits of the flange.
and it'll do while we source a proper bracket as they are very expensive and rare because they are junked for the cheaper system

Well you came up with a nice braket there, why didnt it find its way onto the location of the original one on the rear alloy mount? (or is it a cunning plan and an early mount?)

But then you'll understand that human beings can be resourceful calculating creatures when needs must.
I may leave this in place to see how long it lasts...and for your profesional curiosity I'll let you know when it cracks.

Dont get me wrong, it looks like a tidy solution.. and my kinda style.. but prob best to work on the backup plan..
do you have access to the required cutting etc gear? looks too good to be something "adapted"..... unless you were exeeedingly lucky....
