i bought a second hand junk carb and took the bit out when mine broke

looks like this but as i say in summer just let it warm for a while then it will be ok, as kevtherev says airleak could be the lean issue

My auto choke has been disconnected, I want to get it put back on. I have a spare carb. I have tested the bi metal strip and it works fine. I will buy the carb re furbelows kit. But the only thing I can't get my head round is once the auto choke is fitted to the carb how does the rear of arm fit. Is it something to do with this plastic bit. Does anyone have a diagram and also know were I can get it from.
