nothing to do with noise and questionable ref ducting but.......
if you do fit set then do not fit the lower one as per vw, scallop it out so it doesnt direct all that water/crud to the rear of the lower front panel

I used the stuff they use for "for sale" signs outside houses. It doesn't rot like the cardboard and is easily cut/folded to any shape. I seem to see the stuff in skips all the time. Recycle I say.

Use the plain side though or you'll have 'Bairstow Eves' showing behind your grill :D

Mind you, if you're sure people are going to unscrew your grill and penalise you for not having the genuine cardboard, get the proper stuff.

I saved it as I need to make new surrounds for my van, yet to do!

Not at all
If I wanted to keep it to myself I would not have posted it :D

Dims are good its the ex draftsman in me
You could probably print that photo and scale it on a photocopier
Cut in it half if the photocopier isn't big enough

Lads I'm flabbergasted once again by the power of the internet, and what happens when you ask the right question to the right people.

Really appreciate this information. Thanks to the original poster and the repost!
