Isn't there a low voltage shutdown already in the heater?

I have read that on here but not tested it, i suppose i could bring the anjustable bench psu home from work
i have read some people have a low voltage cutoff relay, this one was suggested by somebody recently

I suppose if you knew what voltage the propex shutdown at you could set your relay lower

Aye, tis me that is always banging on about low voltage cut-offs ("LVDs") And I too did consider setting mine to sound a buzzzer, but then decided I didn't want to be woken up in the night with it and having to get out of bed to sort it out, so I left it wired as a cut off.

The Propex does have a low voltage cut off at about 11 volts, which is a bit too low in many folks opinion (including me).

The earlier red Propex 1600 Compact does not have a cool down phase built in. I queried this with Propex themselves. They say not to worry about it on that model. Mine is one of these early ones. I have had it for about 3 years. When I first got it I had it fully overhauled by Propex, new motor, new sensors, new igniter circuit.
