so - I either need a replacement or run without. But no return from carb??? that I can see anyway??

its on LPG most of the time...will not having this plumbed in be an issue??

Electric injection pumps are right by the tank on the outgoing line, if this helps!

Now the charcoal canister is another story. Big thing in the rear offside wheel arch. Anyone else got one of those ?? =-O

hi Slowcoach...thanks for coming back...found my filter - large one, in line in the engine bay. Doing a grand job. although 2.1 - I am not injected (oooerrr missus) so the basic filter is fine

charcoal canister....is that so you can have a BBQ 'alf way up t'mountain?

I think the charcoal filter is fitted to North American models to reduce emissions ??

correct! its part of the fuel breather setup, theres a vac line that pulls air through it. mines australian, and has it fitted (I think it can quite easily be plumbed out of the system though)

Big differences between injected and carbed engines on the fuel side... so its not easy to compare the 2..
nope.. we didnt get charcoal canisters... perhaps for hot climate vehicles...

I may have a spare swirl pot em.. wil have a look tomorrow...
