It was the cv joint and expensive too. old one was dried out apparently...should I keep the old part?

Heard similar noise from the NS rear of mine today. How much did it set you back getting it repaired Zaloopa?

Hey Zaloopa, saw in another post that your in Canada, where are you? I'm up in Whitehorse, Yukon and I got a 1.6 TD JX also. My engine needs a rebuild so deciding to either go with a rebuild or put in a 1.9TD. Would like to chat to you about your experience rebuilding and dealing with the rare nature of finding parts for these engines on our side of the pond so sent ya a PM.
