Only one relay tucked up under the dash - no idea what this one does but don't think its for level sensor, as its the same as the one in port 3
Its been there since day one as well.

Yes - that's a normal relay (probably the relay for the radiator fan).
The coolant sensor 'relay' is a bit taller than a standard relay ......
... that's where it should be .... very strange .....
... you might have to go for a bit of a search ...
... you could trace the wire from the dashboard coolant gauge and try to figure out where it goes ....

All the vans have DIN standard wiring as far as I know so the colours are what to look for
You need blue/green and brown for tge sensor connector in the engine bay
If its not that colour then its not a level sensor connector

If it is then you are looking for blue/green brown black and yellow red to a relay holder up front
