If your close to Gower I have a set of General Grabber AT2's that are on 15" merc rims that you could try out.
Cheers Rich

Maybe in the New Year as you're a bit far from Shrewsbury and we're doing New year in Glen Coe. Thank you though.

Not sure the bfg A/T comes in a 65/70 profile in 15" form...do know a 215.70.16 A/T is a wee bit smaller than a 215.75.15 M/T however despite the tyre calculators saying otherwise.
If your engines in good health you should be able to pull it off with a 5.43 final drive....but you may find yourself stirring the pudding a bit more on the hills...next question will be " what engine upgrade do I need?"
A plus point of the bigger tyres is much more relaxed motorway cruising...as long as its not to hilly..and even improved mpg is a possibility.

If your in the surrey area your welcome to slip on the MT's and see what you think.

The smallest 15" BFG A/T is the 215/75/15 which will raise your gearing by only 7%. If your engine cant pull that then I wouldn't be looking at tyres!

Fair point. I think I'll try the 215/75/15 tyres. If they don't work I can always sell them here!
