You can normally switch this off in the BIOS.

One good thing about the Gobook is that the hinge is quite stiff, plus the dock has a screen stay. The mass of the whole combo is a bit scary but it only deflects about 2-3mm due to vibration and bumps. A bit more cushioning for the hard drive can't be a bad thing: some laptops don't like being repeatedly whacked... you don't want an unexpected reboot or crash when out in the wilds.

Memory Maps......absolutely fantastic......got all the uk maps( many Thanks Jenney) use them on the Syncro and on the motor bike (iPhone 5 on the handle bars with ultimate addons mount) ..... No where you are.... and where you are going...... How good is that!,
