Refitted the exhaust and repaired the tins and reconnected all the heating pipe work.

Still couldn't get the van to start so had to bump it. Took it for a spin,loads of rubbish came out of the vents and after a warm up....... Hot air, and plenty of it. Exhausts now not leaking so hopefully should improve fuel consumption.

Van still struggling to start, it happened the other week after not starting it for about 3 weeks, before that it was ok. I will take off the leads to the solenoid and clean up when I get a chance over Xmas and take it from There.

Pleased with myself that I managed to do the exchangers and that I have hot air blowing into the cab. It's all a learning curve and really grateful for all the help on this forum, to give me the courage to have a go.

Here are some pictures of the old ones and the repaired tinware.

As you can see they were shot with holes and part of the connection to the cylinder head fell off when disconnected.
