[quote="thegasman2000"]Well sills buttoned up. Now a problem....

I have a serious problem on the panel that sits behind the sliding door with the back window in it. The curved bit and the channel that the window seal sits in is foobarred... I cant seem to find the right panel to buy. Do i need to fab one
I had to repair mine but they weren't as bad as yours ,I went to the local sheet metal Fab shop with a small template of the curved bit and had 4 x 1 Mtr lengths bent up as I couldn't get the bend quite right on my bender , I think I payed around £30 for them as well as a couple of pieces of 1.2 mm sheet steel ,or you could see if you could get a body cut of someone who's breaking one

Brave man
She was all i could afford. Bought with a decent interior and the bed is the only thing not shafted...
Will post up pics of the sill when i have ground them down and they look presentable. Learning to weld on this bad boy was probably a bad idea...
thats the whole point . show what your doing and how then if help is needed etc it can be given, it s not to pick etc as we dont do that, but as its not your main job you could easyly come badly unstuck for want of a pointer here and there.there are easy ways to tackle jobs and hard ways and these are also dependant on the ability of whoever is doing it, also nothing wrong with a bag of bones at the right price, better than learning on a more expensive van and maybe doing more harm than good
.
now get them picks up

I'd block just the one, if it was me i'd fit a perspex panel or something similar cut to the same size as the glass and fit it in the window rubber. All easily reversible then.
