Then stop reading! You have your answer here! It wont affect your torque readings.

On a bolt that needs 60 ft/lbs

60 ft /lbs on a rusty bolt = 60 ft/lbs ..................... but the bolt might not be tight
60 ft/lbs on a new bolt = 60 ft/lbs ....................... the bolt will be tight
60 ft /lbs on a new greased up bolt = 60 ft/lbs ...... you might shear the bolt

Its the clamping force!
