I don't know Mark, I think it just says "Just Kampers" diagonally in one corner. It has about 10 plug together metal poles, 2 x "clamps" that are supposed to clamp onto the gutter, but despite the (thin) rubber protection, I wouldn't use them for fear of them chomping through the paint = rust. It has 2 x metal & rubber suckers, that don't stay put It has 2 x long fibreglass poles that go diagonally across the fabric to "dome" it to prevent water accumulation. It is heavy (for a simple sun awning) a swine to put up, and then falls down.

Why do you ask

I'm after something to attach to my wind out to give extra shade / wind break

On that subject, we have one of those funky leisure ones which now has a few small holes in it made by burning ash blown up from the bbq - a disadvantage of those thin nylon materials.

Saw one of these in use recently, and was impressed enough to ask the owner for the details. An awning for less than forty quid - has to be worth a look!

Very reasonable price, and easy to set up. The owner loved it - he said the only problem is, it's easier to put up if you have someone to help you, though he has done it by himself a couple of times. He also had an extra pair of smaller poles at the outside corners, to give it a bit more headroom at the edges.
They've got other shapes and sizes in stock as well.

They have been informative for me as, after looking closely at some of the pictures, I have decided that I have already got most of what I need with this carp JK item. All I need to do is adapt the "pole and clamp" fitting method so that the pole on this JK one can sit in the gutter and has some better method of locking it in place.

I have (somewhere ) some of those heavy duty plastic alligator clamps you see at car boot sales etc. I will dig them out and see if they are up to the job.

Hey hey, result, if I use 3 x heavy duty plastic alligator clamps, the "pole clamped in the gutter" system works fine I have to be careful opening the slider that it doesn't knock the rearmost one off, but that's not an issue. Takes 5 mins to assemble and put up.The steel poles are a bit weighty, but hey, it was free The only good thing about the design are the 2 fibre glass diagonal poles that stop the roof sagging in the middle and filling with water when it rains, (but it's Summer so it won't rain anyway).

because it resolves them of any responsibility should you use it in anything other than perfect conditions. So storm/rain/wind (the things you buy it to protect yourself from) are not covered by any warranty.
Can't say I blame them really, I've seen some people deploy them in the most atrocious conditions imaginable and since these would no doubt be the self same people who would be first to play the 'unfit for purpose' card, they place a design ceiling on 'purpose'.

I'm wanting to invest in a Fiamma sun canopy but JK have told me that the Fiamma fixing kit is not suitable for hightops and I'll need to screw the fixings directly into the fibreglass.

Don't want to do this.

Anybody know how to secure a Fiamma pullout awning to a hightop? there is a gutter along the edge but the flange of the hightop sits in it.

load of cobblers,I have a fiamma awning as do a lot of people with high tops,just buy the gutter clamps from a fiamma agent fit them then the awning fits to the mounts no problem
