Re: Travelling Height of Viking Poptop

Hey guys - lets all stay chilled!!
Points of note:
Ralf - ferry is actually almost 5x the Calais crossing; and when you've picked yourself off the floor remember us Northern folk have to factor in the price of fuel, not to mention the time, to and from Calais! Ultimately though, Dover or Hull I'm off to France, price not really a factor but was curious about height as wasn't sure what to put! (Have put 2500mm just to be safe!!). As for more expensive than a car, if we were too worried about expense we probably wouldn't drive 30 odd year old vehicles!!
Voodoo - I got the sense of humour (or at least hoped it was!); less so the comment earlier about roof up or down!! Lol
Steve - your geography is correct, but hull is only 40 minutes from home, and once on the continent Zeebrugge to Paris is 190 miles and Calais to Paris is 180! So The Boy gets to go to another country and the travelling time saved, plus overnight cabin all make it worth while!!
Monkey Boy - don't know if they'd measure, but not one to risk it!
Think I answered everything, but I know the one question on everyone's lips, what length did I use!! Well I went for 6000mm to cover bike racks!!
Happy travels folks!!
