I remember hunting for a LHD steering column for a bay in the early 90s and discovering that they were a fortune S/H in the UK. Used one of those sun readers cheap ferry tickets (£1) to Holland and picked a steering column for about £15 from a scrappy over there. It goes without saying that RHD ones were silly money in Holland. Not sure what the moral is there though.

i want a rhd set there is lhd ones available rhd just seem impossible to get hold of so thats why im going down the maestro light route if they do remake the orignals then i will convert back

For what the maestro lights cost, you could buy 3 sets now, fit 1, keep 2 so if the supply does ever dry up and you need spares, you've already got them

Plenty on ebay, albeit expensive but far from hard to find.
It all depends if you like the look of Maestro lights (I personally don't) and are ok with anything British Leyland being anywhere near a quality designed vehicle
