They are great and easy.
I bought 100s from China on eBay, and the they supply the resistors but sure you've got to attach them. Sometimes you might want to daisy chain them together, or there's not enough room for the resistor at the LED etc. You might have to wait a couple of weeks, but they are cheap as chips and they've all worked perfectly. :idea:

No I made sure I ordered them with the resistor already in there, some 3mm, some 5mm and some 10mm for different jobs...... Can't see the point in messing about with soldering and heat shrink when it's cheaper to get them ready made ......
