Yes ok that's fine, yes I understand not exactly half throttle. Yes I'll put some brushes in the alternator, do u know where I can buy them possibly?

It should be around 12.9V (the higher the better). Then leave the battery (off the van) for around 8 hours or more and measure it again, if it has dropped much lower than 12.5 volts then it is not in good nick.
