We were told by classic that there were no more 16" dampers left and that there would be no more.
Surprised to hear they are available so I'll check that next week.
Sure I saw something green on the shelf the other day.
I've sent off all the dampers I could lay my hands on recently and sent them away for measurements with the thinking that I wanted to get a good set of measurements on a new set before they all went.
I have the intention at some point to get some different branded front coil overs made for the T3 Syncro front that are adjustable to match a 14" damper, a 16" damper and a bit more to cover all bases.
As you know I don't have a Syncro and I'm thinking of selling the iltis to fund a T3 Syncro development vehicle to try a few things out on.

Trail masters are still a decent damper and mark does have a van with lots of things in it!

I've actually sent you a message on brickwerks sales Today asking if you are a dealer for the trailmasters, found a thread from about 6 months ago mentioning you were.. Looking for a set of HD rears if you are..
Also if you happen to have two 16" fronts on your shelf, I have money waiting

I've never been that impressed with those.
Trialmaster are a lot better quality.

I drove a van with seikel springs and IMHO are wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy to hard.

Remember the good old days when you cut and turned the beam on your bug to 'slam it'? It was like that (or lowering a T3 with £100 ebay -50mm springs).

It was amusing for the first 100m, annoying for the next 0.5 mile then spine jarring for remainder of journey.

Funny how they were good enough for Volkswagen and their Rally Doka in OZ? Personally I would say the Seikels would be great on a panel van or Doka but on a heavy camper that they weren't designed for is obviously a compromise. For any camper i would recommend Lidl springs running with 16 fronts, just waiting for Aldi to produce some shocks

I know nothing about motorsport but am guessing Rally driving a T3 flat out and Joe Bloggs driving one in suburbia are two different beasts calling for two compleetly different set ups? I just found them wayyyyyyy too hard for 'non rally' driving

Michael thinks that the 16" dampers are still showing in stock at Classic because they have 1 and 1 only.

199 euros from jager is the cheapest I've found

I have yet to fit my set of Andreas springs, has been on the list for a while, I got these Seikels long before any other springs were even being thought of...can't wait to drive something a little less jarring. Has anyone fitted the Andreas set - are the fronts a pig - is it going to need decent compressors and a lift etc?

Trailmaster have some new products, we're going to sort the prices out this afternoon.

ditto,that said they are firm and have been on my van 8 years or more with out a problem likewise the ome ,i think there was a defective batch a few years back,again they have held up with out problems,will be interesting to see how the andreas springs fair over time and get a little more feed back as there are some many permutations and with out driving the particular set up thinks are left open to misinterpretation...would like a little more of a progressive spring but certainly not after a blamange for a front end
