				Erm, I don't know.
I'm a lover and a caretaker of my bus but I'm not hands on at all.
Probably why I get ripped off

The dark shadow in the picture between the window rubber and green paint, is there metal there or is it just open into van?.
Also, did you get anything in writing on the 'level' of respray you would get? I.e rust removal/repair.
Feel for you, not nice getting taken for a ride. Very few people you can trust these days

				Looks like its open.
Nothing in writing just went over the van with him and pointed out all the rust etc including some bubbling right there where that gap is. I told him I wanted the rubbers replaced and he said he would but that if they could be repaired/salvaged he would etc..
I specifically said I wanted the cab window rubbers replaced - he didn't. Plus the rubbers in the rear windows had big gaps in which were filled with silicon. I didn't realise this so when they went back in there were big gaps which are now filled with silicon again!!
They guy's whole business is VW T25 repair and sales - I would've thought I could've got a decent job.

That window rubber also has white paint on it? Mould as well by the looks of it.
I think you need to get back in touch with the guy

You need to get in touch with the guy and get all these bits sorted out, if you asked him to repair them and replace rubbers then this should be done. It looks as though the rubber doesnt fit right which will be where your water will be coming from.

washers like window rubbers always get binned and new genuine fitted,at least here they do

Well I consider myself told off. I will bow down to your "Prior Knowledge" of which I apparently have none..

P.S Note that I used a smilie

name the bodgey bugger, even I can see that is not right, makes you realise how good metalmickey is and when I get my van rust cut out I would like him or someone as good as him to do it,I really hate rust and cannot 'get' this rat look, why the hell people want rust even if it is heavily waxed or clear sprayed onto it is beyond me.when good money is saved up and spent and then old seals are used when told to replace them is not on,really hope you get it sorted as it pisses me off and it is not my van

Feelin pretty divvy right now for giving the guy the job but.....
I'll give him the chance to put it right - if he doesn't I will name and shame.
