thanks mate it does help unfortunatly i do need the dimensions pretty quick i think i'm gonna take my rear spring out to measure. if anyone has them, please let us know. thanks again Lsidir. I saw Andreaspring but they are too big in rate for what i need. i want to do an in between spring, 2" longer than standard, and a little bit sotrnger than standard, we'll see where it brings me. I'll let you know. thank you.

Have you heard of the MAD rear springs? You can normally find them on eBay.

Why 2" longer?

sorry i meant 2" lift on the van.

Are you aware of all your options with regard to lifting the van 2". If you need a different spring rate due to specific plans then fine. There are lots of easier ways to achieve a 2" lift without going to the fuss of winding springs.

Most springs have sagged over the years and a new set will probably refresh the van and give a minor lift. Include some spacers for the springs and extensions for the front shocks and you'll get your 2" lift but you'll probably retain the factory ride too. Which as has been previously discussed in depth in previous threads takes an awfull lot of beating.

Generally all discussions involving custom springs are aimed at heavy campers. In this case a stronger spring is a benefit but on a light weight van std springs and spacers seem the way to go.

If you go to the expence of making new springs don't forget to address the pig tail issue.
