She came from Westport, was originally a 1989 UK van and that's all I know of regards her history will give her a good audit after the weekend and weigh up the possibilities I have a very good 2wd 1984 windowed donor Tintop van. So either
1) restore the Syncro with the donor parts or
2) convert the 1984 donor with the Syncro parts and sell The Horse
Or 3) or break the two have a shed load of parts to sell and build a NATO canopy for The Horse
Am now very confused again :?

Yep the more I rhink about it the more i'm leaning towards the grinder plus your informed comments comments ring very true, even though my heart still wants to give her a life again must be the rarity and that she is marsala red getting me all sentimental if she was white I probably would have started chopping her up by now

after seeing the new pictures i would have to say bin it and concentrate on what you´ve got, after scrapping a few im getting to see all the rust that you cant see and it is quite scary really plus your prices are´nt taking any bodywork into account,if you do decide to save it then i will donate a marsala red left front door to the project :D
if there is anything else then think fast, the big angle grinder is going to finish of my marsala red syncro in about 4 hours

Thanks jason but think I'm good :ok Think you shoud stick to CAPS LOCK to tie in with the avatar :D oh before you send that shell to the grave it would be well worth cutting off the gearbox mounts that go on the chassis the middle underneath panel that allows the prop to go through, the steering rack panel and the front prop support brackets and the threaded bar that sits in the chassis at the front which the front subframe bolts to, these are all syncro specific and would be invalueable to anyone doing a 2wd to syncro conversion :ok
