Am popping over to GKN in Leek tomorrow for new UJs and a rebalance- £60-80 . Do it in a day. Not too far from you either. Could save you a bit if you have time to take yours over. And you could enjoy a day out in the Potteries!!

See if you can get them to replace the bushing inside the prop also, mine was sent off for refurb because it was vibrating and ringing. When it came back it was very smooth, but still rings like a fire bell as I don't think they replaced the bushing.

I might do that, it's not too far...
I think the brickwerks one has the bush replaced already, so they might work out a similar price when you factor in time and fuel. Plus, it looks all shiney and new

Re: Syncro shudder - resolved, thanks.

Well, got a bit delayed after an unexpected trip to India
Plastic bottle fuel cap anyone?!
Anyway, back to the uk and Christmas has arrived, in the shape of 6' long box with "brickwerks" tape all over it
It's my new shiny prop and it was fitted yesterday and I now have a verrrry smoooooth Syncro.
Thanks for the help, it was driving me nuts. Old prop had 2 worn UJ's, one had tonnes of play in it.
Now I just need to work out the rumbling noise from my gearbox, going to change oil asap as I've noticed a leak. Is it going to be a long job?!
