OK...
Here's what they did..windows out, bumpers off, handles, grills, lights every thing really,
rub down, seams cleaned out, some minor fiberglass work (TV ariel hole, badge holes) dents filled , rub down
filler primer, rub down,
primer,
sprayed two pack high gloss to my design, inside wheelarches and suspesion sprayed in black
baked,
Two minor redo's as my design was crap.

Nice job Kev. Was there any work needed doing around window frames - ie rusty bits?

I don't know about richards but on mine the were some issues on the rear side window as there was some scabby bits however there was enough metal there to be rubbed to bare steel then treated and fibreglassed.
You can't see the join!
They assess each van on the condition obviously more prep then more time = more money, they can attack the seam rust on two fronts (from inside aswell) it depends on what you want to spend.
I had X amount and the respray was tailored to that.
After one year it still looks great.

The lads who do this are contract commercial van/truck sprayers and have been for 18 years. they are honest and blunt.

I quite fancy that for mine with a 2 tone finish. It looks pretty purposeful in white but its a little dull. Perhaps surf blue for the bottom half would look good?

Shepsters is a white van and his is due to be done there. He is having the same thoughts :D

Can we persuade him to post some pictures??

I've got the usual light seam rust that needs dealing with but the underside is virtually perfect.
