while your in gsf, get some brake pads/shoes,new belts, oil and air filters, spark plugs, some oil and coolant. change them and take the van for a mot(where your brake hoses, wipers, bearings,oil leaks,emissions,winscreen,gaiters,and brakes etc)will be tested.. thats it serviced and mot`d all for £100, or vw merchant will do a "service" for for about £1500 or something ridiculous

Now just got to find someone to sort the internal electrics!
