didnt buy it through ebay rob ,to be fair the fitter told me he was worried because the flanges the backbox fits to were rusty and he was worried about the pipes breaking but he said he could fit a full stainless system for £500 !

yeah of course he would....
your flanges are 1/4 plate steel, and a hell of a lot better than the brittle stainless ones because they flex.

I doubt that they are worrying.
my mate shep has a stainless box on steel headers, because the stainless headers kept cracking

so is it just a case of removing the bolts from the header flanges and dropping the back box off ?
