Hi Tetley

That photo must of been taken in the spring or fall as when i was there last week the river was like the m25 motorway in rush hour full of kyaks. :D
The river is absulutly stunning its a shame us tourists have to spoil it kyaking down the hole length,I did the short 7 kilomter kyak through the ark and loved it.
Driving through the tunnals along side of the gorges was great fun,i will try to post some pictures up when ican figure out how to do it.
Also i noticed lots of free camping spots along the gorges.

I was there in September 2010. It certainly wasn't as busy as when Jed visited recently :shock:

Heres a couple of french passion sites we stayed at ( I just loved staying on the vinyard )
And a nive cool river we came a cross
and a open air toilet at the back of the van :)

Blimey mate you was brave, wild camping in a Frenchmans vineyard like that. You are lucky you didn't get a van full of buckshot as they are very "passionate" about affairs of the grape!! :lol:
