Hi,

I know this is an old thread but I'm trying to get my door off to re-finish it and having some trouble

I open the door to the indent and lift it.....is it at that point it is supposed to come off the middle rail? If so mine won't budge, it seems to be held in-line by the upper bearings on the middle rail. The wheel looks like it has lifted clear of the runner when I lift it at the indent....but I cannot get it to come off the runner

am I being really stupid here?

cheers

Jimmies

ta but no  the inners i make myself from decent metal, you unbolt them all ? no need at all , if your doing a repair and so need it on and off a dozen times as in sill/wing work etc then hardest job is slider cover then lift the stupid door of, takes less than 15 secs to do, same to refit, if a quickie then leave slider cover on it just takes a few secs longer
