The ambulance that was in the Syncro Camp is for sale. Think, he has a camper interior for it, too.

Aye. My T4 is a syncro conversion. Fairly straight forward job. Just need the lifted chassis now.

As much as we all love our Syncros, most would advise a few nights sleeping on it, before doing anything irreversible to a nice Atlantique. And cheap syncros don't come with tip top running gear usually either... maybe work through a few other options first, that's a very big step.

But keep looking for a syncro, all the same, Paul Jebiga's got a nice one for sale

It's going to take me a while to get sorted with money and finding a syncro so i'm not rushing just yet, maybe the one I get might be worth doing up?? the longer it takes to get one the more money I would of saved, so will cross that bridge when I get there :ok

I take on board what you said

Cheers
Gary

How many syncro's were running A/T's last weekend? BFG or Grabbers...

How did they get on? That's about the muddiest I plan to get in the van and my M/T's were brilliant, but they are just too big I think (ok for cruising)

I'm going to sell my M/T's 16's and Winter Snow tyres 16's and just opt for 1 set (A/T' 15's)

I just don't want to spend all that money on A/T's to find me getting stuck all the time!

I had Yokohama Geolander A/T 16's on the T4 and bogged down twice, but managed to free myself again. I'd been better off with M/T's in that environment for sure, but I certainly wouldn't have wanted to be on road tyres.

If I recall correctly, the ambulance T3 was on BFG A/T's.

I had Cooper Discoverer ATRs....less than 500 miles on them, and they were great. I didn't get bogged down once. The only time they 'failed' me was on a steep ascent on the off-road course, but a bigger run up and switching the front diff lock on probably would have solved that one.

They proved to be more than adequate the week before at SyncroP too.

I love tyre shopping, so much choice, variation, If I had a garage I would have 3 sets I think.

Sure. A lingual difference. For me it's all the same. I wouldn't even notice what language it's written in :)

Pretty sure it was on A/T tyres and Mefro wheels, but I might be wrong of course.

Dave was on Mt's at CJ.

On a note from CJ - the mt's climbed the hill although they did cut through the surface. The at's went through after the mt's had climbed.
