Battery's fine.
It's not when all the electric things are switched on it's when any one or more of of these come on

but not when the glow plugs are on (wired separately, not through the main loom).
I've now received a pack of LM 7812 voltage regulators which I will try out this evening if the rain stops!

Ah well, more money down the drain.
On the bright side it was only 2 quid for 5 voltage regulators. I can always sell them on ebay. :ok
