looking very good , those lower speaker panels are similar to what i had in mind. Nice

First one finished and fitted.


Quite pleased with the result.
The second one is finished but it's too hot to be buggering about fitting it.

Looks great mate. What type of material did you use? The stretchy carpet type?

Just el cheapo cord carpet from the DIY store.

Okey dokie. Im guessing you used spray adhesive?

Jaein, I used arseosol repositionalbe contact adhesive to hold the carpet in place and used proper contact adhesive to stick the edges to the back of the card.
I remove the thin layer of foam from the back of the carpet before glueing the edges.

I was thinking about making up some door cards and speaker pods myself and this is just the inspiration I needed!

Micky - the door cards were the last two on the list.
I did the others sometime back.

Oh right, ok I will soon be moving onto my interior as soon as I have finished the underbody, and the odd cutting out rusted areas on the body. I'm going to have a look around a few hardware stores tomorrow to see if I can find any suitable pvc type sheets, but failing that I will go with marine grade ply. 3mm.

That would be my preferred option, marine ply sealed with either epoxy or varnish will be perfect.
