The VW Museum in Wolfsburg can give you a 'birth certificate' for your van for a small fee and a few details. It looks like this .....

Thanks Andrew!!!
What you mean small fee?
http://automuseum.volkswagen.de/urkunden.html?&L=1" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
"If you own a Volkswagen and would like to know more about its history, order our Vehicle Identity Certificate for a fee of
only € 50.00"
I understand small fee something like 15 or 20€...

But anyway, if I have the money I will spent on it!

I'm sure I read somewhere that only 250 Club Jokers were built.
Pop-top or highroof? Mine is a Club Joker III, highroof.

Kombi bus....... Is that a Dayvan?
The bracketed number, ie (253), is that the body-shape code?

Combi is a panel van with windows, or a empty caravelle, however you look at it!

A Kombi is not a Panel Van with windows. The side panels on a Kombi are not panel van panels but the same as Caravelle. My first Syncro was a Kombi and looked like this .....
A panel van with windows has cut outs with glass stuck in!

Although if I am honest, I would rip Paul's arm off if I could. ( and if it was diesel , would have to upgrade to double squares tho)
