Seriously though, I've said it before but my Remtec has been in for 5 years, done 50,000km and never missed a beat. On that basis I would obviously recommend them. It depends on your budget; when I bought mine it was about £1500 on an exchange basis - they collected the old unit and refunded the deposit to my account the same day.

I took out a 0% credit card (remember when you could do that) and paid it off over the next 12 months and destroyed the card. So perhaps the failing economy is all my fault after all

I will stick to what I said in the first reply, based solely on reading lots of threads on this subject on here over a good few years now =

"the TV can be used as 240v or 12v as it has a transformer on the power lead which will convert it"

:rofl :rofl SORRY, wrong cut and paste but I thought it so funny (well I laughed) it had to stay !

What I meant to quote was =

Most seem happy with their products and service :)

They have a good reputation with regard to their guarantee too, which is nice :)

Haha wish it was that easy and cheap! Well they do guarantee them for 24000 miles or 2 years . I'm just glad to have an option would of liked to Subaru it but I just LPG'd my 2.1 and I've been told I can't swop the LPG
System from my DJ engine to a Subaru!

Much of the system will most likely be different, probably more 'uneconomical' to rather than actually 'can't' , besides a gassed DJ is a fine option ... about as good as you get without a transplant.
