I think the problem with mine is that it was the cheapest welder about, I borrowed one for a job and ended up keeping it for about six months, then in the end I just bought a new one to give back to the previous owner and kept his. The weld always seems to be sitting on the top of what I'm welding and there seems to be little or no penetration, maybe due to lack of power.

they do 300 bottles but for a couple of quid extra sell same size but with much more-

Didn't know that, just looked

and they've 54% more gas for about another £2-50 or £3 depending

600g for £14-39, not bad :ok

Also agree, that these 2-litre BOC ones (almost 500 litre of gas) look good value, if you don't mind an annual rental agreement
