I had a great time, thanks to all organisers, great effort. There's no substitute for experience and it was great to finally do a bit behind the wheel and watch others doing likewise. I know 4 passengers, a caravan in an untested JX powered van on a long journey and off roading is probably not a text book first outing but it all seem to come together. Cheers to all van owners for letting me take a sneaky peak in , under , on etc. really useful, cheers. Oh, and special thanks to the Irish for the sideshow .

Was a good weekend, always good to catch up with everybody.

Well done to Si, with a clear round on the Tion (or in Paul's case Tyreoff) trial, and a very good show from Jess with one reverse and a muddy wheel touch on a pole.
The rest of you that drove, glad you all had motivation. But the causation to use reversation, along with too much hesitation, deviation and possible procrastination - Well!! not much more can be said.

Thanks everyone who came, wouldn't be an event at all without such good support. More than a bit of nip in the wind at times, and overnight frost was about the biggest hassle, who'd want it any different (rain)?

Thanks to all committee members, especially Jenny for so much of the background admin work, Neil as secretary and those others who helped in some way on the day, stepped in, and also to Dave for last minute printing as well as Patrick and Max who helped clean and clear the campsite on Monday
Oh! Paul for the fantastic range of specially flavoured beers (Including chilli) that he made with his own bare hands!

There'll be a few dreaming about nothing but Syncro tow recoveries for a few nights I expect... anyone estimate how many tows
