I've enjoyed following the progress on your camper, Mike has done a great job. :ok

It's a lovely feeling when you use it again. Regarding the awning, our old one marked our old paint, but our replacement one has elasticated sides so we can have a gap between it and the van, I'm sure you've got it in hand.

Yeah I know , must get the stickers sorted :roll: and it did not go unnoticed especially by "Albatross" from this very FORUM and a couple of others 8) 8) :lol:

Thought the "fig 8" would give the gutter grief but that paint is tough stuff :ok

metalmick8y wrote:Well I get them from the extruders direct, :D none of the ones youve looked at will be any good,
I will take a detail picky this afternoon and post it up, the other important thing you have to consider is the actual effective radius you can acheive.... these ones work to a 50mm radius which is like a full on right angle, the rubber is very pliable, ovehall sizes are as;
glass 4.5mm
body 1.5mm
web 6.5mm
glass channel depth 7mm
metal channel depth 8mm
overhall height 21-21.5mm
I can supply by the mtr or yard :D

Micky do these seals have allowance for internal carpeting on the inside panels too?

if you mean the nice thin pliable easy to shape carpet! yes I think so, you will I reckon only need to tuck a touch under to get a nice clean edge,

I think if you stick the carpet on so its just short of the opening bthen fit rubber then glass, it should be ok , I have had the vernier in and it happy goes out to 3mm.
if you pm me your addy again I can stick a sample in the post to you tommorow to try.
