I used a local fella
They are very good and have done several vans from the club
Not sure if he still does upholstery any more His website has gone.. I'll find out what's going on





the quality is excellent he charged £280 for refoaming and reupholstering the front seats.. the rest came to a total of £750 with all the bed, door cards, potty box.
I decided to reupholster the lot because it was impossible to get the material to keep it original
So that a guide for you

Spend some time looking for someone in South London to do ours, but gave up in the end - all dodgy railway arch businesses or guys with big chains who do bimmers and charge a furtune.

Went up to Bromsgrove Auto Trimmers http://www.bromsgroveautotrim.com/70160 ... p=12&pno=0, who I have to say were the nicest people I think I've ever done business with. Bit of a trek up the M40 but well worth it.

Trying to get the right colour match for our 1984 Autosleeper Trooper. It is an off white and the Halfords VW Candy white is not creamy/off white enough. Our van is the same as the one they used on the original brochure with a brown stripe. Any suggestions of a colour match?

Scrap the last comment, just had a response from Autosleeper and it is Pastel white.

I've just bought an Autosleeper Trident.

Hi all, I've got a VT20 and have only recently tried sleeping in the pop top. The problem is I'm 6'3 and the roof bed seems very small and very hard. My question is has anyone else had the same problems and if so how have they overcome this ?

I sleep upstairs in my Trident, and yep it is a little cramped.

I've found an old piece of chipboard from boarding out the loft, positioned it so it covers more of the gap when the main bed section pulled out.

You'll need some form of extra mattress support, but worth a go. Basically your head will now be nearer to the front and toes away from end.

Looks ok but have not yet put my theory in practice !!
