Ah. That's Syncro Mike that took those.
He was actually inside the fenced area guiding me in case it got too tight with the diffs and the transfer-box and took pictures as I went over.

Loosers ? It's a win-win situation, at least for Syncros. What's wrong in a bit offroading ?
The ones that lost out where us mere T4 and LT 4WD's, as the track was designed for T3's and too narrow to allow for us.
I would have driven straight over the first pit with a wheel on either side of it knocking every single ball and pole.

in the later group, the Belgian registered grey T4 work van wearing chunky A/Ts went straight round!!
You are correct about the set up, as he struggled with the turning circle, but the Germans were impressed, almost as much as the driver who had expected to get stuck as he has apparently done a bit of off roading before

That was Alain driving.. he's one of Mike Plompens' crew - known him for a few years. He's done loads of offroad driving - top chap and very skilled.

One of the lads on the T4 Forum send me a video, that he took, when I went over the container ramp.

There was nothing but weird noise in the video, so I stuck some music on it instead.

The track was layed out too narrow to get the T4's or the LT on there, so no.

I thought someone mentioned a t 4 had done it ?
Would the assault course be to narrow too ?

You mean the course in the showground ? No, it wouldn't really, but it's pretty harsh on the van, so people left it. Only one dutch T3 (bar the official one) did it and I was on it in my LT. At least while I was around.

But...despite a seeming lack of pics one did go round...and was quite surprising in the hole at the start..a few surprised looks on faces etc when it literally pissed it! However the tight turns seemed to be a problem and again surprised faces there as well...I certainly expected the t4 would turn tighter than a t3 but nope...

Was it a LWB or SWB ? There's a huge difference in the turning circle between the two.
