fitted my poptop gas struts at the weekend , work very well. bought them from the guy of samba from the states.
took a couple of weeks to arrive , and got stung another 12 quid from the post office ...
now its time to get back to doing the rust before winter comes

well , it had 4 quid tax , plus 8 quid royalmail admin fee ! bastards !

finally ordered a new canvas from gunzel , after allot of advice , 350 quid and 4 days later it arrived
a few shots of my old canvas ( previous owners did the repairs )
old canvas removed ,
i followed this video for fitting :

front top fitted first
and then sadly i forgot to take any photos , untill it was fitted .. it was a sweaty job thats for sure !!
not peferct . but for my first attempt now bad , and a millon times better than the old one
again .. its now making the paint work look even worse! lol .. should be nice camping this month with this new canvas

after the new forest i found out my "leisure" battery was not upto much .. so new one ordered monday , today it arrived , 63 quid delivered ... and god does it only just fit ! got the links from brickyard ...
had to removed the battery lid , and the battery clamp is not going to fit anymore .. but the battery is not going anywhere !!
roll on the lakes tomorrow .. long drive !!!

been allong time over winter .. not much done i dont think ..
but got my tailgate and sliding door back from the painters
not a perfect job , but for the price i paid i cant argue to much .. and they will be blown over again when the whole van gets done...
now i must fit them before i dent them etc..

Hoping to complete the welding of the new rear wing tomorrow .. put it off for ages .. i know why now !
you can see that the old insulation just acts like a sponge and keeps water against the panels
can see daylight !
looks like i might have to remove more cupboards to get to the wing join .... but looks like the rock and roll bed has to come out to do that !

yea ... although one of my kids is ill today .. so looks like its changed my plans for the day ...
also received some rear camber adjustment plates from brickwerks .. so they need fitting at some point so my alloys can go back on ...
