Totally agree Airhead, the Landrover 90 is not a easy machine to live with, you have to love them and treat them right or they spit the dummy. They only have room for a bucket and a pair of wellys in the back, they are noisy, slow, smelly and uncomfortable but i love the old bitch regardless. Sad innit :D . I had a good luck around a Syncro yesterday and you have 15" of clearance from the bumper bottom to the ground as standard which is enough for the Yorkshire Dales and Kev H has more than that.

Ah yeah well they wouldnt be interesting if they didnt have their quirks! Its the same with Syncros, and I love mine! I think everyone on here would agree. If we wanted ordinary, boring vehicles, we'd get a fiat punto or something like that.

I like land rovers too actually. I think theyre cool. I like the rugged off-roader look. Thats what I want to achieve with my van.

love the advertising video at busman.de

"Don't worry I'll catch em in my fuel injected four wheel drive volkswagen syncro - OLE!" :D

and that Gordon Danger video - some excellent examples of off roading except for that pillock who kept walking around the van when it was on a slop - eejit

The "pillock" is Gordon Craig, what hat youmg man doesnt know about syncros', isnt worth knowing.. he is a syncro god..

Gordon has done more offroad in a syncro that just about anyone on the planet.. his dad was a "test pilot" for vw SA.. and he used to go out and try and break the things...
The white doka is his.. SA never got the syncro doka, so he built it from a 2wd, ultra special high torque I4 golf engine in the back..

Total respect..
