Covered with vactan.
And started making good again.
That's all I got photowise but I will be back over the weekend to get some more done.

As I approach the o/s thought I'd share with you what I have to tackle. I have given the panel work a rest whilst I look into the trailing arms/suspension/brakes but the more I investigate the wheel arches the more I am finding, so here goes...
The lower part of this arch/wing had been replaced some time ago but is now showing signs of looking rather naff. I want to fill the hole that used to house the electric hook up so I think a new full height wing is needed.

The next few pictures show the work done by the previous owner, rather poor welding, I think this needs to be started again with a new panel.
Anyone spot the mistake they made when fitting this panel??

Then there's the front arch which needs repairing around the fuel filler hole.

After removing all the underseal from the rear arch...
I started on removing the underseal from the front arch.
I unscrewed the expansion tank; one of the pipes at the bottom just snapped
I disconnected the main fuel pipe from filler hole to tank, just pulled away, not sure if that was OK? But it's out of the way for now.
Think the tank may need to be dropped at a later date.
Anyway found a few holes under the front arch.

Final close up of the hole that backs onto the B pillar and I'm off to save up for the replacement panels I need and cut out all that shody work I've just shown.

If that's holed, then i'll bet there's not a lot left of the inner sill, inner B post, load spreader or outer b post either. There wasn't a lot left of mine in that area, i had to cut away the end of the out rigger and jacking point to be able to repair it all properly

Cheers, get those pictures up Dave

I will ensure I fully investigate when I remove the naff looking outer sill. The inner sill has been repaired before but so far seems solid. Busy spell in work ahead so won't be till next week now!
