It's a pain so..........(going by your original post you can access the ignition switch connections?) there's a small chance that you may have 12v+ at the ignition switch but that the 12- return is broken. Test for voltage at the ignition switch again but instead of testing across the red and black, test across the red and any bare metal of the bodywork you can get to or even the negative of the battery. Assuming that too fails, have you a removable panel above the fridge in the cupboards as all the wiring enters the fridge from the top? You should be able to trace it without removing the fridge. If you haven't - how are you able to get in to test for 12v?
