Just thought I'd post it in case anyone wants a battery before winter. Euro Car Parts - nice chunky starter battery - £55 incl VAT. My starter motor was a tadge surpised I can tell you. They no longer do the Lion batteries by the way. Discontinued almost overnight.

My prob Kev is I came to the VW scene 25 years ago and learnt everything the hard way and with no money. Still have no money but do have a wealth of experience and try to pass on savings where I can find them. I also write for a living (industrial commentator) so thats why I'm on the net 24/7 (unless out in the wedge) :rofl

Funnily enough I was thinking of doing that myself - matching pair and all that. Its a good deal and a nice beefy battery. Bargain to be honest and again Euro Man came out and measured my battery box too only he wore glasses and was a little on the tubby side to be a super hero. Gave him a cheerful toot on the horn as I left though.

Be interested to see how it performs as a leisure.

Clearly he knew what planet you were on :rofl Never heard of that brand - its not made by Binatone or Ronco is it?

Just think of that, the power of the planet driving your electrics.

A day too late!

I just bought a Bosch Silver 72ah from GSF. £66 including VAT and 80-90 discount. Three year warranty.

I was expecting a five year warranty on it but hey ho...

Hi all, i have just bought myself a T25 camper van last weekend but am really struggling to find a leisure battery short enough to fit under my front seat! I am a complete novice when it comes to T25's and just wondered if anyone knows where i can get one from cheers :D

There's been "one or two" threads on the topic of leisure batteries  Most people, myself included, tend to use a standard starter battery as a second batery, but there is rumour of a true Leisure one that fits, have a search, I'm sure you'll find out all you need to know (and an awful lot that you didn't even realise that you needed to know  )

:ok

Just for future readers...

A starter battery works fine as a leisure battery as long as you NEVER run it flat.

A leisure battery should NEVER be used to start the engine.

Never say never John  ,it has been done after all else has failed , I also think this is why more and more folk are turning to regular running batteries as leisure ones , that and they fit under the seat :ok
