Yes that was us. We were peaking through the blinds to see if it was anyone we knew.

Although I would swear it was a white hightop not a tintop.

I would have come to say hello but I've not been able to walk all weekend.

I was dying to come over and say hello but wasn't sure if it was you, but we will probably be there again before long poss half term.

Hope you're plan goes well, I'd love to spend a good few months travelling around but not sure I could cope with living in my van and travelling to work every day. Great plan for saving money though

I stay in mine if I work away (not very often) and did a short spell in it last Xmas when we had that really cold weather. Tempriture wise it got down to as low as it gets in the UK and I use a 13 tog duck down duvet that keeps you so warm you only need the ebber on just before you get up otherwise your to hot...
I could live in a T3 full time no worries if I was single but it would have to be in a Westy due to the well thoght out planning of the conversion, it makes all the difference. In the winter and it's below freezing your water tank needs to be inside for example, having a pre heater on your gas regualor and built in waste tank are just a couple of the well thought out things that would make life more practical.

Reading this thread and thinking that you were going to bail out at the height of winter. Good one for sticking with it.

Just coming up to 18 months for us now. No problems at all.

Not practical for me as I have kids but I've often wondered about it when taking a lunchtime stroll. I work a college which has showers and canteen and is by a canal where there are quite a few houseboats moored. It might be something I do when I'm older.
