Servicing a T25 1.9 DG with LPG

Hi guys,

My dad's just bought a '85 T25 1.9 DG with LPG, and he's asked me to service it when I go down to see him in a few weeks.

The van's done 32k according to the clocks.... not 100% sure how true that is though. Going by the past few MOT's and tax discs, it's done about 1k a year for the past 5-6 years.

What would you guys recommend me changing during the service?

Following are already on my list:

Oil
Oil Filter
Fuel Filter
Air Filter
LPG Filter (Where from?)
Spark Plugs (Which type due to LPG?)
HT Leads
Dizzy Cap
Rotor Arm
Brake Fluid
Coolant Flush and replace with G12+

Anything else ????

Thanks,
Andy

Anyone ?!? :D

Dad's just told me that he was given a Haynes maual with the van, so will be having a read through that first !!!

I was mainly concerned about what things I needed to look out for on the LPG side of things, as I've never worked on one before.

Will find out who did the conversion, and find out what 'system' was fitted.

First thing to check on the LPG system is that all joints are gas tight. Put a few lires of gas in the tank and use a soapy water mix sprayed over all the joints. Any sign of bubbling will need attention.

Cheers, will check them all out when I get my hands on the van!

Have also read that it's worth while replacing the petrol fuel lines from the tank to the engine... as they're prone to splitting and causing fires etc!!!
