Has anyone fitted Caravelle sliding windows into the sliding door and opposite panel of a panel van? Do they go in alright even though the panels are different - ie the van has no recesses like those on the Caravelle.

Any thoughts appreciated. It seems that caravelle windows offer better value than new ones at present.

I believe it can be done but my local window fitting place wouldn't fit velle windows in my panel because proper panel van windows are curved ever so slightly top - bottom or so they reckoned (or was it other way round??) and they thought they'd struggle to get a good seal.

think Purpletony has velle windows fitted in his van though
