I had to talk my way in...and even then they insisted I got somebody (poor Max) to walk in front of me incase I went mental and ran people over...odd thing is was made to drive right through the the most populated part...but ended up right next to the fire road so could of driven in total safety anyway! Still undecided if I can be arsed to go this year...

Change of plan due to trying to squeeze in too many things into this weekend. We'll only be coming for the day on Saturday now. We hope to stop long enough for a curry and few beers in the evening before leaving.

I'm looking for volunteers to share TDi war stories / advise as I plan my own engine swap. Just tell me if I get boring with my 100's of questions though :)

I didn't expect to be the first to be honest.

We are outside the trading area this year, but just before the fence where the trading area starts.

We aim to be there early (for us) tomorrow as long as the clutch issues doesn't become any worse.

Popped in today to catch up, was good to see everyone including some new faces !! :D
The allocated area however was crap, there wasn't even enough room to wheel my disabled wife through the vans as they had to park like sardines !!

Despite the fact I'm a lowly 2wd driver...and I arrived by car  I was made to feel throughly welcome in the syncro camp and what a fantastic spread on Saturday evening. Thanks to everyone that contributed (I left feeling a bit guilty because I didn't). It was great to finally put faces to a few of the names. Oh, and the AO show wasn't bad either. I'll be there next year (and better prepared) for sure :ok

Many Thanks to all who helped organise a great weekend. It was one of the best meets yet.
Big hand to Max for organising the curry night and thank you to all who cooked great food.

As you well know I didn't need to eat any humble pie for desert, and that really topped the night off. I knew it would be easy win, even with 3 key players going off

If any of you want to convert to support a winning team, please let me know and I'll try and sort some shirts out for you all :rofl :rofl

If you want to watch it again its on BBC WALES right now on Scrum V, I hope you all enjoy :D :D
